Alicia M. Ivey of Goldbergs Concessions Corporation, Dwight H. Pullen, Jr. of DPR Construction and Michael E. Washington of Palazzo Concessions Join the AMAC Board of Directors

Washington, DC (April 8, 2021)—The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) is pleased to announce the following appointments to the AMAC Board of Directors: Alicia M. Ivey, President & CEO, Goldbergs Concessions Corporation; Dwight H. Pullen, Jr., National Core Market Leader, DPR Construction; and Michael E. Washington, President & Co-Owner, Palazzo Concessions.

The AMAC Board of Directors regularly evaluates its composition to ensure it includes the appropriate skills, experience and perspective necessary to uphold mission alignment and drive growth for all AMAC stakeholders. Alicia and Dwight will serve as At-Large Directors. Michael will serve as the Western Region Director.

Dwight H. Pullen, Jr. is a National Core Market Leader for DPR Construction focusing on Customer Experience, Account Management and the Aviation Market. In this role at DPR, Dwight focuses on strategic growth in the airport sector, profitability, operational excellence, growing talent and maximizing customer engagement.

Dwight previously led the Aviation Center of Excellence for Skanska USA Building overseeing aviation construction in the U.S. advising clients on building strategies to plan, design and build efficient, forward-looking airport facilities. Under his leadership and guidance, Skanska ranked #2 in Engineering News-Record’s in the Airport Construction category and Building Design + Construction for Airport Terminals. At CH2MHill (now Jacobs) he was the Vice President and Global Director of Aviation responsible for driving global strategy, growth and profitability. About Michael E. Washington, President & Co-Owner, Palazzo Concessions
Michael founded Palazzo Concessions as an airport concession services firm in 2009. His company manages joint venture agreements with several national prime concession entities, including Hudson Group, Norm Nixon, Magic Johnson Enterprises and HMSHost. Palazzo Concessions’ ownership interest is currently located in four airports, Los Angeles International Airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Portland International Airport. Combined, they have over 50 concessions in their portfolio: Bulgari; Hugo Boss; Armani; Tumi; Michael Kors; Starbucks; Coach; Fred Segals; Harley Davidson; Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf; and Panda Express, to name a few.

In 2011, Starwood Hotels and Resorts nominated the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles for national recognition in three key categories, including Sales and Marketing Team of the Year, Revenue Management Team of the Year, and the best Food & Beverage Hotel. In 2014, Starwood appointed Michael to Sheraton’s General Managers Advisory Council of twenty, representing 433 Sheraton Hotel General Managers Worldwide.
