Charlene Reynolds Is the New Interim Aviation Director for the City of Phoenix

Congratulations to AMAC member Charlene Reynolds on her appointment as Interim Aviation Director for the City of Phoenix! Ms. Reynolds will oversee Phoenix Sky Harbor International AirportPhoenix-Deer Valley Municipal Airport and Phoenix Goodyear Airport!

Ms. Reynolds has served the city for close to 20 years in a variety of positions. Charlene began her aviation career four years ago when she was asked to transfer from her role as Deputy Street Transportation Director to create the aviation department’s first Contracts and Services Division. Eleven months later, Ms. Reynolds was selected to lead the new Business Planning team which included the Design and Construction Services, Contracts and Services and the Business and Properties Divisions.

Ms. Reynolds proudly leads an award-winning $350M commercial enterprise, which includes terminal concessions, advertising, parking management, rental car center operations, air cargo and the real estate portfolio for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and two general aviation airports. Ms. Reynolds currently serves as a Chairperson for the City of Phoenix Employee Retirement System (COPERS) and President-Elect for the local chapter of NFBPA – National Forum for Black Public Administrators.
