Last year, Philadelphia airport executives partnered with Temple University — which has a Japan campus — to throw an event in Tokyo, to encourage direct flights from Philly to Asia. Japan Airlines executives attended, as did Japanese companies that do business in and around Philadelphia. Learn more here.

AMAC Member and General Counsel, Mareco Edwards, has been named as a member of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s (UMES) Aviation Science Program Advisory Council (ASPAC). The UMES Aviation Sciences program is Maryland’s only four-year, bachelor’s degree program in aviation and has a mission of preparing students for challenging and rewarding careers in the aviation industry.
