U.S. Department of Transportation Civil Rights Training Summit

The U.S. Department of Transportation will join partners across the country in commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. As we reflect on our progress, it is also vital that we continue to revitalize our focus on civil rights compliance and prepare practitioners to meet Federal funding requirements. This is especially critical as new transportation infrastructure resources flow from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).

Join the Departmental Office of Civil Rights + USDOT Operating Administrations for:

  • Updates from leadership and program teams, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Programs, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act, Section 504;
  • Progress reports on the Department’s implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law;
  • Opportunities to learn about other related U.S.DOT initiatives and resources, including the Equity Action Plan, meaningful public involvement, technical assistance resources for DBEs and small disadvantaged businesses, Environmental Justice, Justice40 and more.

Registration for the virtual portion of this event will close on Friday, April 5, 2024.

DOT is committed to providing equal access to this event for all participants. If you need other accommodations, such as language translation, captioning (CART services), or alternative formats, please indicate so on your registration form and contact docr.info@dot.gov with your request by the close of business on March 29, 2024.

Thank you for your interest in this civil rights training summit! We look forward to your participation. Please direct all event inquiries to docr.info@dot.gov
