San Francisco International Airport Terminal 2 Coffee Lease Information Conference

On behalf of the San Francisco International Airport (the Airport), we invite you to participate in the selection process for this concession opportunity pursuant to the RFP, supplemented by this Addendum No. 2. Please review the RFP and all Addendum carefully. The RFP is modified and supplemented as set forth below. If there are any inconsistencies between the terms of the RFP, as previously modified and supplemented, and the terms of this Addendum, then the terms of this Addendum shall prevail.

The Airport is rescheduling the Informational Conference for Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Tour of Location

A Tour of the Premises will be offered on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Attendees must register and receive security clearance from the Airport to go on the tour. Please register for the tour by emailing Frishtah Afifi at (frishtah.afifi@flysfo.com) no later than January 25, 2023, with the following information:

  • Your full legal name (as shown on your government-issued ID)
  • Your Gender
  • Your date of birth
  • Name of your company

Space is limited, and the tour will be limited to two individuals per company.

The amount of rent to the Airport has been revised to include additional Food Court Cleaning Fees in the amount of $38 Per Square Foot the 1st year and 2% of sales after.

Judges

Each Runway to Success Competition will feature a judging panel composed of industry executives and business owners with expertise across the airport, aviation and transportation sectors, including operations, procurement and supplier management.

The final pitch competition, held at the AMAC Airport Business Conference, will feature a VIP panel of leaders from the largest airport food and retail operators in North America who possess the authority to extend a business offer.

Suppliers

Supplier applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Suppliers of Goods and Services Positioned to Support Growth, Innovation or Customer Experience in the Aviation Industry

  • Suppliers Offering Strategic, Innovative or Scalable Solutions

  • Must Be Registered as a Legal Business Entity and in Good Standing

  • At Least 51% Minority- or Woman-Owned

  • Able to Clearly Articulate the Value of Their Product or Service in a Short Pitch Format

  • Must Be Available to Attend the Live Pitch Event

  • Must Not Currently Have or Be In the Process of Establishing an Agreement With Any Operators or Airport Concessionaires

AMAC is accepting applications from partners to host one of the eight (8) first-round Runway to Success Supplier Pitch Competitions.

Hosting a first-round competition is critical to the overall Runway to Success Supplier Competition. Each host site serves as a gateway for local and regional entrepreneurs, small businesses and ACDBEs to access AMAC’s national platform and connect to contracting and partnership opportunities.
