Founded in 1998, ASUR is listed on both the Mexican Bolsa (ASUR) and the NYSE (ASR). In 2013, ASUR expanded to Puerto Rico and began operating Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, the largest and busiest in the Caribbean.
The acquisition marks the company’s strategic entry into the U.S. airport retail concessions market, expanding its footprint and enhancing its commercial capabilities.
