LAWA Disparity Study: Virtual Public Meeting Webinar
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is the City of Los Angeles agency that owns and operates LAX- one of the busiest airports in the world- and Van Nuys Airport. With a $500 million average annual contracting budget and $15 billion program to modernize airport facilities, LAWA has commissioned BBC Research and Consulting to conduct a disparity study.
The disparity study will assess market conditions, evaluate LAWA’s implementation of the Federal DBE and ACDBE Programs, and review other LAWA efforts to enhance contract opportunities for historically under-utilized businesses, including small and local firms, and firms owned by people of color and women.
Attention Business Owners and Stakeholders: Your input is crucial! The Study Team seeks your feedback on local market experiences to help LAWA expand contract opportunities. LAWA highly encourages participation in these meetings. Please register here.
There are two opportunities to participate in a public meeting on Wednesday, September 11:
- 9 AM – 11 AM
- 6 PM – 8 PM
To encourage your candid feedback, LAWA staff will not be present during the testimony segment.
