A one-on-one conversation with and presentation by Ms. Tina Williams, Policy Director for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, OFCCP issued a temporary exemption from certain federal contracting requirements. For a period of three months, from March 17, 2020 to June 17, 2020, subject to possible extension, new Federal contracts to provide COVID-19 relief efforts will be exempt from several obligations under Executive Order 11246; The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act; and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. (extracted from the OFCCP’s website.)
This is a MUST ATTEND if you provide any product or service to ANY federal agency; if you are a recipient of ANY federal funds – direct or indirect; if you are considered a federal contractor; if you enforce any of the regulations mentioned; if you are a Compliance, Labor or Procurement Officer with any level of government. Participants will be able to get a better understanding of the National Interest Exemption and pose questions via Zoom chat to seek additional clarity and guidance.
