Lauryn Mangum Reed

Lauryn Mangum Reed’s industry experience started in 2012 when her family opened the Refuge Coffee Food and Wine Café in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport as a subtenant of HMSHost. She played an integral role in the framework, opening, operations and staff training and became the Director of Sales and Marketing.

In 2017, Mangum Reed joined Stellar Partners as Business Development Coordinator and was later named Director of Innovation and Business Development. Lauryn supported the department in many facets, from coordinating requests for proposals to working closely with ACDBE partners, emphasizing innovation, technology, and strategy.

Currently, she is the Vice President of Business Development for Servy—a global, omnichannel enterprise, self-service platform for hospitality. Servy enables partners to drive operational efficiencies and enhance the guest experience while improving profitability through the suite of contactless order and payment solutions. Lauryn is responsible for business development and strategic partnership activities for the Servy (Grab) Airport Marketplace with airport authorities, developers and restaurant and retail partners throughout the Americas.

Although considered an emerging leader, Lauryn’s industry involvement is vast. Mangum Reed serves as the Co-Chair for the AMAC Emerging Leaders Committee. She is also the Secretary of the AMAC Board of Directors and a member of the ACI-NA Business Diversity Steering Committee.

Raised in Detroit, Michigan, Lauryn left the Midwest to attend Arizona State University. She became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and obtained her Bachelor’s in Business with a minor in Communications. With a background in fashion, sales, branding and an affinity for people, Lauryn has applied her experiences and skills to the aviation industry. She is excited to be a part of its succession. She also owns business consulting and financial literacy companies, helping individuals qualify for personal and business credit needs.

Michael Baylis II

Vice President, Strategy & Business Development, CI² Aviation Inc.

Mr. Baylis is the Director of Strategy & Business Development for CI² Aviation, Inc. Operating over 23 years, CI² Aviation is an award-winning aerospace, engineering, professional services and financial services firm that operates air traffic control towers in the continental United States, Puerto Rico and St. Croix. CI² Aviation’s experience includes weather forecasting, air-field maintenance, maintenance of navigational aids, maintenance of meteorological systems, air traffic control, systems and network engineering, software development, data science and analytics, and financial and administrative services.

As the chief strategist for CI² Aviation, Mr. Baylis is responsible for developing and advancing the organization’s strategic direction. This including establishing growth priorities, leading all business development initiatives, strengthening CI² Aviation’s existing operations and diversifying the company’s offerings.

Mr. Baylis is a member of the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) scholarship committee, the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) US Contract Tower Policy Board and a member of the Young Patrons Board at Arena Stage in Washington DC.

Mr. Baylis received his BBA from Tennessee State University and his MBA from Georgetown University McDonough  School of Business.
