Attendees will gain insight into key changes affecting certification, compliance and contracting, as well as strategies for maintaining strong partnerships under the updated requirements.\nIn 2023, the SBA began requiring the development of a Social Disadvantage Narrative for all firms to demonstrate owners’ social disadvantage for eligibility to participate in the SBA 8(a) program benefits. In 2024, the USDOT updated the language on this topic as well in its revised DBE/ACDBE regulation CFR 26.67(d).\n\n
