DESCRIPTION:Target Audience: This webinar is exclusively for Airport Representatives and DBE/ACDBE Certifying Bodies.\nWe’ll discuss how to better understand the current DBE certification regulations related to non-presumptive eligibility and gain tips on reviewing social disadvantage personal narratives.\nIn 2023, the SBA began requiring the development of a Social Disadvantage Narrative for all firms to demonstrate owners’ social disadvantage for eligibility to participate in the SBA 8(a) program benefits. In 2024, the USDOT updated the language on this topic as well in its revised DBE/ACDBE regulation CFR 26.67(d).\n \n\n
