The program will enable AUS to meet the air service needs of Central Texas, maintain excellent passenger experience, and provide flexible expansion for dynamic airline growth. Contracting and solicitation have already begun. The airport plans to pursue more than 20 different procurements through Q2 2025.\nAbout SMBR\nThe Small and Minority Business Resources Department (SMBR) administers the Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Procurement Programs for the City of Austin.
