The Airport Minority Advisory Council Educational Scholarship Program (AMACESP) in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) annually sponsor one of the preeminent airport industry educational and business networking programs in the country known as the Airport Business Diversity Conference. The 2010 Airport Business Diversity Conference will be proudly hosted by Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and will be located at the Sheraton New Orleans on June 19 through 22, 2010.
The Airport Business Diversity Conference is the primary vehicle for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) community to informatively engage with the airport business environment. The conference provides participants with business networking and educational opportunities including public policy issues impacting the entire aviation industry; providing immeasurable benefits to all conference participants. With DBEs and ACDBEs seeking fair and substantive levels of participation as airport vendors, professional services providers, construction and concessionaires, this conference is THE paramount business networking forum. The Airport Business Diversity Conference attracts airport directors, commissioners, disadvantaged business enterprise liaison officers, corporations, minority and women-owned businesses, and federal, state and local government officials to name a few. More than 1200 attendees are expected in 2010!
